Filmen følger sprogbrugen i indvandrer- og flygtningedebatten gennem de sidste 25 år. Tonen er skærpet, og grænsen for, hvad man kan sige om andre mennesker har flyttet sig. Instruktøren, Helle Hansen, stiller spørgsmålet: Skal vi acceptere dette?
